Getting Tabled is a podcast that discusses tabletop miniatures games & board gaming originally created and launched by an Australian & American team, launching on April 1st 2019, Jason “The Bruce” and George “The Yank” was later joined by their co-host “Major Socks”. The podcast is released fortnightly and covers the very latest news from the industry, the passion for the team comes out when discussing the games and the friendly banter between its hosts is the glue that brings it all together. Our focus is on a fun passionate podcast that is accessable for gamers of all kinds and all ages.

Jason “The Bruce” Grubb:
Jason lives in Melbourne, Australia but is proudly from Tasmaniaand, he works full time for a hospital and for those unaware “The Bruce” is a reference to an old Monty Python sketch. Current gaming passions include but are not limited to Moonstone, Bushido, Malifaux, Dropfleet Commander and many more however his main focus right now in the development of Entropy City, a skirmish sized miniature game of his own centered around Motorcycle Gangs. Jason is also a host on the ToyReel youtube channel.
George “The Yank” Lucy:
George hails from the ‘imaginary’ land of Wyoming USA, working full time in IT the spare time not dedicated to the podcast he spends either on his home or on tabletop gaming.
Wargaming wise he is enjoying Dropfleet Commander, Warhammer 40k (Space Wolves) & Age of Sigmar (Fyreslayers).
Jason “Major Socks” Argyle:
When Getting Tabled was first launched “Major Socks” (Captain at the time) was deployed and unable to join until returning home. “Major Socks” has been an integral part of the team, having originally starting with historical wargames such as Flames of War but these days he is also enjoying Dropzone Commander, Dropfleet Commander, Dystopian Wars as well as others. The team is always trying to tempt him into his next gaming addiction but as a family man he has far more self control than the rest of us.
The Major gets his tag as a member of the US Military and currently resides in Florida and is a Warhost for Warcradle Studios.

An occasional guest host Michel actually helps the team mostly behind the scenes, he’s a huge part of the Drop Universe community and has a passion for the industry unrivalled, Michel really enjoys scratch building his own terrain, but due to his busy schedule Michel does get more time for hobby than he does for playing games.
He is interested in Dropzone & Dropfleet Commander, Warhammer 40k, Aeronautica Imperialis and is part of the TTAgent programme for TTCombat.
Ben “Brother Bear”
Brother Bear enjoys a number of skirmish sized games who started at the age of 9, he’s as former Games Workshop staff member, a father of two fur babies, busy doing home renovations, learning Japanese and is an avid painter determined to paint everything he owns, somehow it seems fitting 28hours into every day of his life.
Brother Bear began contributing towards Getting Tabled in 2022 and played the biggest part in our Bushido Tactics series “Welcome to the Jwar Isles”, Ben enjoys Bushido, Infinity and is currently learning to play Kill Team.
